About Us

 Peninsula Mailing owners Nell and Scott Clausen's committment to the Olympic Peninsula guided them to open Peninsula Mailing.

Nell: A Washington Native, Nell went to school in Issaquah and graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Business and Minors in both Marketing and German. She lived in Germany where she met her husband Scott of 16 years. Prior to moving to Sequim, she and Scott lived in San Francisco and the Tacoma area where she worked for Apple Computer. Nell is responsible for marketing and sales with Peninsula Mailing and also has another business where she develops DVDs of familes history with photos and video (tellnell.com).

Scott: Originally from the Midwest, Scott is a retired Naval Officer who chose to live in Sequim after falling in love with the beauty of the area and the warm, friendly people. After leaving the Navy, Scott served as a database programmer and instructor in a Tacoma school district and local business. He has experience in a variety of computer operating systems and enjoys working with businesses and nonprofits to develop their database needs. He also brings strong project management skills from his time in the Navy. When not working Scott enjoys astronomy, woodworking, guitar, programming, and their three dogs.
